    Product Description

Weather conditions conducive for assisting Botrytis has allowed us to produce this Botrytis from Verdelho and Semillon fruit. Orange marmalade, lime and honey dominate the nose and resonate on the luscious, finely balanced palate. The distinctive botrytis characteristics are evident in the zesty, lingering finish. Light golden in colour, the wine will develop more intense honeyed and marmalade characteristics over the coming 3 – 4 years.
    Viticultural notes
The fruit for this delicious Botrytis was grown near the township of Ballandean in the Granite Belt. Botrytis Cinerea is a fungus which grows on the berries.  This fungus dehydrates the fruit leaving a high concentration of natural sugars. This Botrytis also imparts a stone fruit and apricot characteristic in the wine. Near perfect conditions of misty cool mornings, mild clear days and no rain were present producing this lush Botrytis dessert wine fruit.
