Grape to Glass: Vintage 2020
Want to know how grapes are turned into wine? Witches Falls Winery is the only working winery on Tamborine Mountain and this is the perfect opportunity to see what we do!
Discover the craft of winemaking from Grape to Glass with this engaging behind-the-scenes wine tasting tour.
Grab a glass, make your way to four different stations set up throughout the winery and enjoy a sample of wine at each, while learning about a different aspect of the winemaking process.
Tours run every 15 minutes starting at 12 noon with the last tour starting at Station 1 at 3.15pm. At each station, staff explain one step of wine making while demonstrating how it happens. Visit our vineyard, de-stemmer and press, fermentation tanks, barrel room and cellar door. You can sip and stroll through each station at your leisure, as each 15-minute segment allows you to take your time, ask questions, take a break, and pick up where you left off.
When you finish your tour, head back into the Cellar Door to receive your last sample of wine and settle in, enjoy the live music and purchase lunch from the Fryer & Brimstone food truck. You can even make use of our locally produced Jambreen cheeses, crackers, chutney and honey to create your own platter.
All welcome including children. Under 18’s must be accompanied by a responsible adult and do not require a ticket.
Tickets $20 per person.
