Jon heads up our winemaking team and is officially recognised as a ‘Legend’, competing in the Noosa Triathlon for over 10 years. He is the owner and visionary of Witches Falls Winery and has been actively involved in the winemaking industry since 1995. During this time, Jon has worked in the Barossa and Hunter Valley in Australia as well as internationally in Burgundy, France and the Napa Valley in the USA. Jon has a Bachelor of Applied science in Oenology. While he has a respect for traditional winemaking practices, he also has a passion for innovation and it is this combination that has brought the Witches Falls Wild Ferment range into fruition. Apart from winemaking, Jon loves to travel and live a healthy lifestyle, swimming and cycling numerous times a week to maintain his competitive edge.
