Slight drop in rating compared to decade ago

For over a decade I have enjoyed the simple taste of this Merlot. However, over the past two years there seems to be a slight decline in both depth and flavour. As such, I bought a few alternative brands to assess quality and price and there are some out there which would challenge Witches Falls. I fear a change of grape source might be at issue. That said I will continue to buy Witches Fall Provence Merlot in the hope that full bodied flavour returns. For me now = 4 stars

This is the nicest Merlot I've had. Really Rich in Flavour and even better on ice. Really nice drop.

Flavoursome Merlot

This has to be one of my favourite merlot & red wines from Witches falls. It's rich, deep in falvour but not to powerful. Perfect balance of alcohol & good fruity juicy flavours. Highly recommend with bbq or a good steak at home.
