Welcome to Witches Falls
We’re a small yet bold winery, lacking in pretension, with a hint of distinction on the nose and excellence on the palate.
At Witches Falls we love wine. To us it is not just a drink. We love growing it, making it, drinking it, matching it with all kinds of foods and sharing it with friends and we would love to share our wines with you.
Located on Tamborine Mountain in the Gold Coast Hinterland, at Witches Falls Winery we take pride in creating wines that you not only love to drink but wines which draw you into our world. We produce three distinctive ranges of wines: Granite Belt, Wild Ferment and Prophecy, each providing a unique look at different styles and practices in both viticulture and winemaking.
Our Cellar Door is open 7 days a week, Monday to Thursday from 10am to 4pm and Friday to Sunday 10am – 5pm. Be guided through a wine tasting by one of our knowledgeable staff, create a DIY cheese platter from our range of Jambreen cheeses or bring a picnic to enjoy in our gardens while sipping on your favourite wines.
In order to be able to provide you with the best tasting experience possible, bookings for groups of 6 or more people are essential. You can book your tasting by completing the booking form here or calling us on 07 5545 2609.
Please note, as our focus is all about making great wine, we don’t have a restaurant onsite.
Tamborine Mountain is situated in the Gold Coast Hinterland and only an hour from Brisbane. Take the scenic drive up the mountain to see incredible views of the surrounding coast and mountains. There are multiple National Parks and walking tracks, so you can experience nature at its finest.
Pop into our Cellar Door for a wine tasting after walking the Witches Falls National Park walking track, the first National Park in Queensland and where our name originates.
With so many local producers, artists and small businesses, there is much to see and do on the mountain and multiple ways to experience it. Check out our top five things we love to do on the mountain here.
